It's fascinating, the things you take for granted every day. Being in prison away has shed a new light on certain things that I never even thought twice about before I left. Things that I had at my disposal whenever I wanted them, and then were taken away from me.
Things like fruit. I've been eating more fruit the past month or so than I have in the past three years of my life. Fruit is spectacular. Fresh fruit is the best. Too bad a lot of it isn't in season right now. I can't wait until springtime when I can get my hands on some nice ripe strawberries. That would be just fantastic.
Another thing I missed? The freedom to go wherever you wanted to go, whenever you wanted to go. I think I might buy a motorcycle when the weather warms up some.

I still can't get Abigail to talk to me. She avoids confrontations between us. I can't be certain whether or not she blames me, but I know that I do. Life just ... it really isn't work living right now.
